The project arises from Necko's restlessness to create an artistic action to perform together with the children of ASPANADIF (association of intellectually disabled people of Ibiza and Formentera). Nia, Necko's niece, is a user of the association and precursor of the idea. The 75x9m mural has been painted entirely by the children of ASPANADIF under the direction of Necko and Jerom, a friend and great artist, who knowing the initiative joined without hesitation.
More artists from the island have collaborated in the execution of the work that leaves a phrase, TODOS SOMOS UNO, with sections of faces of the ASPANADIF kids themselves.
The project was born to give visibility to the real capabilities of the disabled with the aim of their labor insertion. Complex and demanding tasks were distributed among the children, who responsibly and seriously executed them with surprising speed and quality.
