Speculum, or mirror in Latin, is a symbol of self-knowledge. There is an ancient belief that the reflected image of the person and the real self are linked by a strange correspondence. The image reflected by Speculum can retain the soul or life force of the person so that the self can be seen from another, more complete and holistic point of view. Speculum's reflection is also attributed with the ability to see past and future events and the ability to penetrate them.

The intention is to create an interaction between the artist's work and the viewer, the viewer being an integral part of the installation in an ephemeral and temporary way. Different compositions, scenes and effects that intervene reality to somehow take the viewer to a different perception of reality. Work created for Ibiza Light Festival 2023 based on led screen, live camera, TouchDesigner and ambient music.
